The main limitation is that one can save captures with lower resolution only. The tool is shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"david-laserscanner6\" src=\"http:\/\/saisa.eu\/blogs\/Guidance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/david-laserscanner6.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"442\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the setup consists of &#8220;corner with calibration picture&#8221;, line laser and webcam.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"david-laserscanner5\" src=\"http:\/\/saisa.eu\/blogs\/Guidance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/david-laserscanner5.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"460\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Plus:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>texture can be embedded in the 3D object<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minus:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>saving into obj format with lower resolution<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>one cannot save joined scans (Shape Fusion)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>webcam<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>line laser, ie. laser which can produce a straight line (ie. not a spot but line on a wall)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Texture example<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tool can add a texture the the scan. (Since free version does not allow to save the results of joining by Shape Fusion).
