For example Yamaha <a href=\"http:\/\/usa.yamaha.com\/products\/music-production\/accessories\/usb-midi\/ux16\/?mode=model\">UX16<\/a> works fine (<a href=\"http:\/\/data.yamaha.jp\/sdb\/product\/image\/main\/raw\/u\/ux16\/UX16-0002.jpg\">photo<\/a>). Some instruments do provide USB connection, and then USB cable is sufficient.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to edit and create MIDI files without external instrument.<\/p>\n<p>The first look might be a little confusing due to amount of information.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/saisa.eu\/blogs\/Guidance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/anvilstudio.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"580\" alt=\"AnvilStudio\" src=\"http:\/\/saisa.eu\/blogs\/Guidance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/anvilstudio-small.png\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For recording, first check that the correct devices are visible and defined in AnvilStudio in menu option View-&gt;Synthesizers. Then simply use REC and STOP buttons for recording.
