One can record only a region or also full screen. Sound can be taken from microphone or from loud speakers (output).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Camstudio\" src=\"http:\/\/saisa.eu\/blogs\/Guidance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/camstudio.png\" width=\"280\" height=\"292\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is possible to convert recorded file into SWF, to make it more suitable for demos.<\/p>\n<p>(I&#8217;m still using older version 2.0)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fix for sound recording in Vista.<\/p>\n<p>If you get error message &#8220;WaveoutGetSelectControl() failed&#8221;, then one can try the fix explained in <a href=\"http:\/\/camstudio.org\/forum\/discussion\/33\/waveoutgetselectcontrol-failed\/p1\">support pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Here are some instructions for enabling Stereo Mix (sometimes also called Wave Out Mix)recording:<\/p>\n<p>1. Select &#8220;Sound&#8221; from the control panel.<br \/>\n2. Select the recording tab.<br \/>\n3. Right click on the background of the tab and choose &#8220;show disabled devices&#8221;.<br \/>\n4. Right click on Stereo Mix and click enable.<br \/>\n5.
