They are stronger in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Comparison_of_vector_graphics_editors\">editing vector graphics<\/a>, but also alternatives for creating diagrams.<\/p>\n<p>yEd&#8217;s positive features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>automatic layout<\/li>\n<li>flowcharts<\/li>\n<li>UML diagrams<\/li>\n<li>BPMN diagrams<\/li>\n<li>Entity Relationship diagrams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>yEd comes with many examples (see help-&gt;Example graphs).
